Israeli attacks creating “Vacuum,” says Jaish-e-Adl; blames ‘Velayat-e-Faqih’ for regional instability

The militant Jaish-e-Adl group has issued a statement criticizing the Iranian regime, accusing it of decades of repression and misrule, particularly toward the Baloch community and religious minorities across the country.

In the statement, the group claims that in the 46 years since the establishment of the Islamic Republic under the doctrine of Velayat-e-Faqih (Guardianship of the Islamic Jurist), the Iranian people—especially the Baloch—have endured what they describe as widespread injustice, mass executions, and systemic discrimination.

According to Jaish-e-Adl, around 60 Baloch citizens have been executed in just the past two months alone. The group says these figures reflect a long pattern of harsh treatment toward the Baloch population and point to broader human rights concerns.

Referencing historical protests and crackdowns in 1988, 1996, 1998, and 2022, the statement highlights what the group sees as a persistent use of force to silence dissent. They also condemned reported violence in Zahedan and Khash during recent protest movements, where dozens were allegedly killed.

In its regional critique, the group accuses the Iranian leadership of having contributed to instability across the Middle East, citing conflicts in Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Yemen, and Pakistan. It claims that the regime has used sectarian rhetoric and foreign intervention to advance political goals, harming both Muslims and non-Muslims.

“The current attack is not on Iran, but on the regime,” the statement reads. “A vacuum has emerged, and it is our responsibility to fill it—to liberate our country and restore dignity to the people.”

Significantly, the group asserts that the current unrest and international pressure on the Iranian government have created what they describe as a “vacuum” of authority—one they believe presents an opportunity for the people of Iran to reclaim their rights and shape a new future.

Jaish-e-Adl calls on all Iranian citizens, particularly the people of Balochistan and members of the armed forces, to join what it describes as a resistance movement aimed at establishing a more just and secure Iran. The group emphasized unity and cooperation among all ethnic and religious groups to move toward peaceful change.
