Four personnel of the Frontier Corps’ Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) were killed, and three others sustained injuries in an improvised explosive device (IED) blast in the Margat area of Quetta, Balochistan, on Friday
Quetta: According to officials, a vehicle of the BDS team was targeted when an IED detonated, resulting in a deadly explosion. The injured personnel were shifted to the hospital.
This attack follows another tragic incident just a day earlier, in which four people lost their lives and four others were injured in a blast in the Kapoto area of Kalat. Authorities are still investigating the nature of the explosion.
In a separate incident in the Washuk district, an individual was injured in an armed attack. The motive behind the attack remains unclear.
Meanwhile, in Kila Abdullah district, a deadly clash erupted due to a tribal enmity between the Sagi and Hammedzai tribes. The exchange of fire left two people dead and four others injured.
